Vestibular Physiotherapy
Vestibular Physiotherapy is a specialized form of exercise-based physiotherapy, that prescribes to treat and manage symptoms caused by vestibular disorders. Vestibular disorders are related to your body’s vestibular system – which is the link between your ear and your brain.
The Vestibular System
Your vestibular system is a sensory system made up of two inner ear organs, vestibular centres in the brain stem and your vestibular nerves.
It provides the brain information about head movement, body position and reacts accordingly by sending out nerve impulses to the muscles in your eyes, trunk and limbs to help you balance.
