2-3. Opening Arc From Low To High (Presented by Chng Chye Tuan, Senior Physiotherapist)

The next exercise is a movement called an Opening Arc from low to high. What this action does is to activate your infraspinatus, teres minor and supraspinatus all through this range; from the low range to the high range. This is more advanced and more difficult than the previous exercises that we have done like this (movement) works the muscles through the whole range.

Opening Arc From Low To High

We are going to start off with a cable in a low height position. You are going to start off with tension with your fist in-front of your hip on your opposite side. You are going to pull it out in an opening movement from low-to-high diagonally. Remember to keep your shoulders backwards and downwards and allow your rotator cuff muscles to stabilize your shoulder joint.

This exercise is called an Opening Arc from low to high.
